The Final Mirrored Compact!
This was the one I made as a gift and I know it's been received safely so ok to blog. There won't be any more for a while until I can go to Hobbycraft and get more mirrors - maybe for Christmas gifts! It is Crafty Individual papers as before, but a melt-pot clear UTEE piece in the middle - image transfer in as much as I peeled the white layer of paper off the Colisseum image so the piece is quite transparent.

This is so cool... is this how you buy the mirror from hobbycraft?? Obviously I mean the blank version before you altered it!
ReplyDeleteHi Nicks, the mirrors are a very basic two inch square in a pack of four, with quite sharp edges. Good thing is, they are cheap though! I had got this lace tape in the same trip to Hobbycraft and I love it. I had planned on putting the mirrors into a frame made in the 'bug, but folding the lace tape over all the way round got rid of the sharp edges. So the little books themselves are just a couple of squares of chipboard, and I added a little spine to them, to take the depth of the mirror. Hope that is what you meant!
