Tissue Tape Tag Three and Four

Another couple of tissue tape tags today. The one above was made with Crafty Individuals CI 061, coloured with Pro Markers and torn around the edge. The bird and photo corner are more moulds I have made, and then made up with friendly plastic. The bird cage is another of the moulds I made using a shrink plastic Alterations bird cage, then making it up with friendly plastic, and dangling some of the pearls from the never-ending Primark jewellery stash! I am a bit worried I am becoming obsessed as I met up with a couple of friends for coffee yesterday, non-crafters, and I was eyeing up their jewellery to see if I could make moulds from it!

I finished the tag off with fibres and one of the Anita butterfly stickers I like so much.

For the tag below, I made a flower from felt and fabric, using the Alterations Tattered Flowers die (which Pauline has bought me for my birthday, how cool is that!). I layered the flower up with some fibres and a flower shaped button.

  1. These are just so wonderful, Lucy! Always love the mini birdcage. I bought a bunch of shrink plastic and plan on shrinking all my die cuts and putting them on altered storage boxes. Then I can see from the box what dies are inside! Well that is the plan! Have fun!

  2. Hey Lucy,
Your embellishments are fantastic, wonderful tags, you will wonder how you ever managed without tattered florals! lol!
thank you for your lovely comment, so pleased you liked the article... right then the cd was Artylicious 'Essence of Nature'.... by Glenda Waterworth. http://artylicious.wordpress.com/author/artylicious/
All the designers were given the same cd to work with and I'm not sure where you can get a copy. could try searching or http://www.ws-designs.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1525.
It's now in the process of changing to chocolate baroque...
Also it's soooo easy to print onto canvas, I used the sticky back type, also in the same issue I have the digital article with more ideas on printing onto canvas.
Hope it helps, HuGs Kim :)
