Such a lot of inspiration this week over on the Paper Artsy blog that I wanted to make a second item, this time inspired by Sue Carrington. It's a bit of a rushed job, a case of 'I've started so I'll finish', as I'm off to the Artstamps show at Newbury tomorrow so tonight is my deadline. I loved Sue's background layer which I've copied here:-
And I loved her technique of using the Satin Glaze and then rubbing the black paint off to reveal some of the blue:-
I also loved her use of the black paint on the blue background for the flowers, and I've used a little white gel pen:-
So I'm entering this into the 'Inspired by' challenge for this week.
oh that is gorgeous!! Hope you enjoy Newbury and don't find it too disappointing. Not a Paperartsy anything in sight!!

Oh wow I really need to have a go at this, the black with the blue is so vivid. Each week I always want to try everything but never get the chance, I think im going to start going back during spare time and try other ones I missed lol. I meant to say on my last post, it's so frustrating when you loose things, I started loosing stamps and inkpads, in the end I worked out why, even though I have a lot of space, when im in the creative zone I tend to have everything around me using all the space, I worked out that instead of falling on to the floor they were falling into the recycling bag I had next to my desk, which has now been removed lol, let's hope the dump site have some keen crafty workmen lol. Kezzy :-) xxx
