Gingersnap Creations Blog - a Tutorial on Faux Modelling Film

Over on Gingersnaps I have a tutorial today on making flowers and butterflies using packaging material. I hope you will like it:-

I'd already got everything ready for the tutorial before our crisis. Thank you for all the kind comments. Our house and contents are as severely flood damaged as it is possible to be, apparently, and it will be probably six months before we can return.

  1. A fabulous tutorial Lucy, especially loved the use of fabric.
I hope things get speeded up for you with the house. Take care.

  2. Just popping over to have a look Lucy. Your personal news is just awful. If you need anything please let me know. Hugs Annette x

  3. look at you still posting with everything going on. Hang in there sweetie!

  4. Love these Lucy, left a comment over at GSC!
So sorry to hear about your lovely house, you must be devastated! Hope the weather warms up soon, so it can dry out quicker

  5. Hi Lucy, so very sorry to hear about your dreadful circumstances ATM. Can't imagine what an awful shock it was for you both. I really hope you are able to return as soon as possible and that maybe you'll be able to salvage some of your possessions. XXX

  6. These are sooo cool! Thanks for sharing how you made them!

  7. This type of flowers and butterflies collections we can stitch on the cards layouts and frames.

  8. It's unbelievable that all these beautiful things are done of packaging materials. What a miracle! I just thought that it could also be a great material for save-the-dates.
