Crafty Individuals' June Challenge - Tag You're It

Over on the Crafty Individuals' Blog, the challenge is 'Tag You're It', to make a tag using any Crafty Individuals' product. I wanted to use some of the stamps Jean and Malcolm recently brought out, and also a technique by the lovely Helen Chilton, one of the CI teamies, where you stamp on acetate and paint from behind and then cut out the image.

I streaked pink and blue paints on the tag first and then stamped with the new large dragonfly background CI409 and then used a selection of text and the butterfly and bee from CI 410. I then stamped the new wild flowers stamp CI411 in black staz on, on clear packaging material which is thicker than acetate and painted it, using lots of white paint to really make it pop. You can find all the new stamps on this page here.

Check out the details of the challenge here. You only have two days left so I do hope you will play along!

Indigo Blu Music Hall Stamps - MDF Heart

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win the prize draw in the Indigo Blu challenge. It was a very generous prize as I got to choose two A5 plates, so I chose Music Hall and Boadicea. Such original designs, and they stamp out beautifully as always with Indigo Blu! For details of how I made this heart with the Music Hall set, hop over to their blog here.
